Alpha for international students
Do you know some international students who are interested to get to know more the Christian faith? Then offer them an Alpha Course for International Students! It is very easy to organise and a lot of fun for the students! And its suitable for internationals: over the last ten years Student Alpha has proved to be one of the most effective tools for university students and young adults to explore the Christian faith, with over 600 courses now running worldwide.
The Student Alpha Course consists of 7 evenings, each about a different topic: Who is Jesus? Prayer, or, How does God lead us? You can organise the course in a living room in the dorms for international students. An evening looks like this: first you share a meal together and chat on daily life topics. Great to get to know each other in this way! Then you show the video with a christian view on the topic, which can be seen through www.studentalpha.org. Afterwards you have a (small) group discussion about the theme. In the small group every opinion may be shared and discussed.
You just need an organising team of 2-3 people for starting an Alpha Course for International Students. The team can be trained through training videos from www.studentalpha.org, that you will find after registering your course there.
